  Jose and his crew successfully repaired a faulty kitchen installation for me and I can finally enjoy my kitchen! They were very professional and did an awesome job! I will definitely be using JMV Home Improvement LLC again!

Jose was immediately responsive to my request for an estimate, delivered incredibly detailed repair and rebuilding work for my wood shutters, and was dedicated to completing the work as promptly as possible. His team went the extra mile to clean up (including a surprise cleaning of my garage where they stored equipment), always arrived on time and worked through full days, and delivered an exceptional result.   José and his crew did an excellent and very well appreciated job with replacing our back of the house windowsills and door frames that had suffered water damage over the years. They offered me a few options, and openly discussed the pros and cons of each. When they uncovered more damage than initially estimated, they notified me immediately and showed me the evidence, and explained very carefully what my options were to repair the unforeseen damage. Extremely professional and high quality.

  Jose did a great job communicating with me and ensuring that my floor was removed for a dishwasher installation. He will be coming back to complete the job when my dishwasher is installed. It’s a long story. Thank you so much, Jose!

  Jmv/Jose did an amazing job building our Ikea kitchen walk in pantry and custom counter top. They arrived on time and provided qaulity work. They asked important questions just to make sure things got done correctly. I will use them again for sure

  I just had JMV over for a quote. They explained the extent of the project in detail. There was a dedication to doing every detail correctly and a lot of transparency as to the complexity of the project. They were punctual and sincere—very positive vibes!!

  I worked with JV Home improvement to replace rotted wood and paint front exterior of my home. Jose and his team did an amazing job. Jose was veryJVhome responsive, and communicated with me throughout the project. He and his team were punctual and completed the job to my satisfaction ahead of schedule. I’ve already received several compliments on the work done, I look forward to working with JV Home improvement again with future home project needs.

  The afternoon before the scheduled appointment, this contractor sent a message asking me to describe the job. That's right: He apparently made an appointment to perform a free estimate having never read the description of the job that was in my original request for a quote. Highly unprofessional. Avoid.

  Great work. Terrible business person. Ask for payments the day before it was due. Asking for a payment on a Friday and needing it the next day is super inconvenient. Very unprofessional. Will never work with him again.

  I’ll just say there isn’t enough positive things I can say to accurately communicate how impressed and satisfied I was with the workmanship, quality and value of the projects accomplished by Jose and his team.

First, Jose and his team actually traveled from Maryland to southern Virginia to complete all my projects. This was sooooo helpful because I couldn’t find anyone in my local who could provide this type of service! And the prices were extremely reasonable even with the travel.

Next, the workmanship was AMAZING! I would like to caveat this statement by saying I am really particular and a stickler for details. Jose was my “contractor soulmate”. He is very talented and takes a lot of pride in his work. Most of my projects were custom and Jose exceeded all my expectations with the final product.

If you desire high-end custom workmanship for an affordable price... Look no further, Jose and his team will provide you with everything you need and a few things you didn’t even know you wanted but sooo happy they added them😊 I wasn’t able to add all my photos, but Jose stoned my living room fireplace, built a custom electric fireplace in my master and built custom shelving in my laundry. He also built custom medicine cabinets in my master bathroom. EVERYTHING was AMAZING! I promise you will be satisfied, if not Jose will make sure he fixes whatever you need until you are 100% happy! One other thing, Jose and his team were soooooooo clean. Every night before they left, the work areas would be so clean. It didn’t even look like contractors were working in my house! GREAT COMPANY. GREAT WORKMANSHIP. GREAT VALUE!!!!

  Was a no show to an appointment we made after I cleared my whole Saturday for our meeting. There was no follow up that day as to why he didnt show. It took me following up to understand what happened. I gave him a second chance for an appt. Went well and he seemed very knowledgeable. This the only reason I'm not giving 1 star. The price estimate for a crown molding and backsplash job was higher than others I received. Customer service and professionalism (before jobs are even started) needs to be improved.

  Jose was absolutely wonderful to work with. He and his guys put in around 300 linear feet of boards for our condo. He answered every question I had, explained all the options, had an accurate forecasts of how long the project would take, and his estimate was right on the money. Rather than cutting the 16 foot boards in half fit into the freight elevator, he walked the longer boards up the stairs. When I questioned him about this he said he does not like seams and wanted to minimize how many there were.

They did a fabulous job cleaning up after each day of work, and they came up with creative solutions when problems arose due to curved walls and uneven floors. Hands down would hire him again for any project in the future.

  Jose and his team did a fantastic job building framing for my new fireplace. They were hired to build the framing and wall it in with cement board; I wanted to do the remainder (so don't blame them for the work-in-progress finishing in the photo!) Typically this company does soup to nuts, including the finishing and tile, on projects like this, so Jose was careful to be sure he understood what I wanted to do vs. what I wanted his company to do. He and his team arrived promptly, carefully draped the room and furniture, did excellent work, and cleaned up well. Afterwards, when I had a minor concern, he was quick to respond and resolve the issue. I'm very happy with the work done and would use them again for future projects!

  THEIR WORK IS TOP FLIGHT, THEY ARE ON TIME AND VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND PROFESSIONAL IF YOU TEXT JOSE HE ALWAYS GETS BACK TO YOU AND I LOVED THE WORK HE DID FOR ME AND CLEAN UP WHAT EVER MESS IS MADE.I WILL USE JV AGAIN HONESTY.

  Jose created a custom bookcase for me. Did an excellent job and I would hire him again.

  Jose replaced some drywall and baseboard. He did a wonderful job of integrating the old and new, and the finished look matches the original. I will use him again for another project.
